A working kitchen's notebook

Food worth standing over the stove for.

Tasty Recipes is a small, stubborn publication about how home kitchens actually cook — tested recipes, vibrant flavors, and the craft behind both. No filler, no 15-minute promises we can't keep.

From the pass this month

A running edit of what's actually getting cooked in the test kitchen right now.

Why we started this

A publication that cooks first, publishes second.

Tasty Recipes began in a real home kitchen, built by passionate cooks who got tired of recipes that didn't work the way they were written. Every dish on this site is cooked more than once before it's published.

We cover recipes the way good line cooks talk about them: plainly, with respect for the ingredients, and without pretending every trend deserves your Tuesday night.
